Your neighborhood market for just about anything you need
CVS® which stands for “Consumer Value Stores” was founded in 1963 as a retail shop that sold health and beauty aids. Today, with over six thousand locations nationwide, CVS became a household name known not only for its pharmacies but for neighborhood stores that carry just about anything, from personal care, clothing, and household items to food and drinks in their refrigerated products section. Those of us who shop at CVS know that well. You can get your prescription refilled, get your favorite magazine, an ice cream, and a cold drink in less than five minutes. CVS pharmacies will also be COVID-19 vaccination sites in 2021.
Plant-based patties will now be available at your local pharmacy
If you are a fan of Beyond Meat® patties, you will be able to pick them up at your local CVS® starting January 2021. According to the official statement by Ethan Brown, the CEO of Beyond Meat®, “CVS has now become a place where people are picking up some household grocery goods, so we want to be there.” Not a bad move at all considering that CVS has over six thousand locations nationwide. All of CVS store locations will be carrying Beyond Meat’s plant-based patties and as many as five thousand of their store locations will be also carrying plant-based meatballs by the Beyond brand.
