Cauliflower Burgers are light, nutritious, and delicious!

The healthiest vegetable?

Cauliflower is one of the healthiest veggies known for being a good source of B vitamins, antioxidants, phytonutrients, and fiber. People have been making cauliflower patties in their kitchens for well over a decade now, serving them with burger buns or with a side of mashed potatoes. I often like to eat them lightly roasted and sprinkled with sea salt. Adding cauliflower to your diet in any form is easy and if you are a fan of plant-based burgers, even easier!

Now available in a frozen foods isle

Two popular vegan burger companies that now mass produce these patties are, Hilary’s and Dr.Preager’s. They are tasty, nutritious, and affordable. These kinds of burger patties often do not require long grilling or cooking and can be prepared fast.

Hillary’s veggie patties

Hillary’s burger patties are immensely popular amongst fans of veggie burgers. This company was founded in 2010 in Lawrence, Kansas where a restaurant-style veggie burger got its fame and “The World’s Best” name. Hilary, the restaurant owner, wanted to create a “to-go” burger patty for everyone who wanted to enjoy a plant-based diet. Today, almost all grocery stores across the US carry Hillary’s Eat Well line of products. For this article, I’d like to point out Hillary’s cauliflower patties which you can enjoy at an affordable price. In addition to cauliflower, Hillary’s Super Cauliflower Veggie Burgers are made with green lentils, garbanzo beans, carrots, faba bean protein, flaxseeds, green peas red peppers, sea salt, minced onion, granulated garlic, parsley, sea salt, white pepper, and smoked paprika. These patties are GMO-free, Soy-free, corn, and nut-free.

Dr.Praeger’s Burger patties

Dr.Praeger’s Cauliflower Veggie Burger is the newest addition to the assortment of veggie patties by this well-known brand. Dr.Praeger’s Sensible Foods has been in the health food business since the mid-’90s. We can surely put this company’s name next to the other pioneers in the vegan burger industry. Although Dr.Praeger’s are not alt-meat burgers and don’t compete to replicate the beef-like flavor, they come in a variety of flavors that can satisfy everyone’s cravings. Cauliflower is the main ingredient in this new patty followed by quinoa, fava beans, oat bran, pea protein, zucchini, and kale. This new patty is also loaded with 9 grams of plant-based protein and 9 grams of fiber. Patties are Soy and GMO-free.
